Hands-On Track Session Descriptions

Order Entry: The Foundation of the File

This session will be a complete overview of the fields and information used for processing a file. It is imperative that users understand this portion of the process because order entry is the foundation of the file.   

 

Let’s Talk HUD

Session reviewing preparation of loan disclosure for readiness of disbursements, discussion of HUD-1 and
HUD-1A, utilization of the logging and labeling feature, POC codes and the use of same, and understand use of Flex Prorations. We will review the use of the Paid by Other Parties option, entry of Payoffs using both the manual entry and our Payoff screen, and the use of Watermarks on the HUD. We will also take a look at the Lender Loan Breakdown screen and how it can help you in processing. And finally we will take a look at the print process and the different options you have available with the HUD.

 

The Ins and Outs of Commercial Settlement Statement Processing

This module will cover the 'Ins and Outs of Commercial Settlement Statement' processing including the setup, use and printing of the CSS.  Attendees will learn how to set up Templates for the Commercial Settlement Statements and set up a 'Standard' Statement and we will review available lines and printing of the Commercial Settlement Statements.

 

How To: Check Writing & Multiple Banks

This module is dedicated to the processing of Receipts and Disbursements after being created from the HUD or the Commercial Settlement Statement.  Included will be a discussion on standard receipt and disbursement processing with emphasis on the special processing that can be utilized in Expected Wires, Check Lumping, securing the Receipts and Disbursements screens and the logging feature used to track Receipts and Disbursements processing.

 

A Look at Commitment / Policy Process

During this session we will discuss the General Commitment/Policy Process; Utilizing Standard Language and how to Retrieve and Use the clauses. The discussion will also cover the use of the Color Coding Options available in the Exceptions (ALTA)/Schedule B (TX), the Logging Toolbar and, in addition, we will talk about how to Place Signatures On Commitments.  Finally, before wrapping up this session we will take a look at the options within the print process with the Commitments and Policies.

Join us as we discuss the functionality of Super Search and learn the purpose and shortcuts for the Additional Fields.  We will also explain the design and layout for Section 1 and Section 2 of Additional Fields and review the utilization of this feature within the HUD and documents.
